About us…Sarreid, Ltd. was founded in 1967 with the mission of providing beautiful and distinctive home furnishings to the design trade and high end furniture and department stores. Sarreid’s product is shown in our 26,000 square foot showroom space on the third floor of the C&D building in High Point, North Carolina, as well as in designer showrooms in New York, Atlanta, Dallas and Los Angeles. From our home office and distribution facility located in Wilson, North Carolina Sarreid has become the “Source for the Exceptional” for high end designers and home furnishings stores in the USA, Canada, and other countries.Rudy van Thiel founded Van Thiel & Company to provide decorative antiques to a select group of larger high end furniture companies. With more than 30 years of experience in the furniture business and in sourcing and restoring European, colonial and Asian antiques, Mr. van Thiel is uniquely well suited to offer this service. Van Thiel & Co. has the distinction of being the only company shipping quantities of European antiques to China for restoration. Van Thiel’s personal network of primary sources of quality antiques and original art in more than 12 countries, coupled with the low cost of quality restoration and framing work done at his company’s facility in Beijing, China enables him to offer quality items at very competitive pricing.
